About DR. Nadine Overgaard, ND

Who is Dr. O, ND?

I am a naturopathic doctor who believes in building a strong foundation of health by helping my clients optimize how they move, eat and sleep. I have a special interest in acute and chronic inflammation, injury and pain. My favourite type of treatment therapies to use are massage, cupping and acupuncture. I then support your body with nutritional advice and lifestyle modifications. If needed I recommend supplements, botanicals or other remedies to help achieve your health goals.

I am committed to helping my clients increase their immune function. This is your body's way of fighting infection. In our brave new world this has never been more important. FOOD AS MEDICINE. Plants are our greatest friends. Whether you are growing them,  eating them in you diet, or taking them as medicine, plants are key to a healthy lifestyle.  I highly recommend eating 5-7 servings of VEGETABLES a day. Try to keep things colourful and diverse. Surround yourself with plants, in your home or head out into nature and breath in (deeply) and enjoy the benefits.

I truely believe in the power of touch. Through our hands we can feel pain, tension, heat, obstruction, adhesions, waste accumulation and scarring. When I'm working with my hands I am always assessing how your body moves,  how it will not and where it needs to go. During treatments I use massage before, during and after a session of cupping and or acupuncture.
